Peter J Walsh immersed himself in the Manchester club. He didn’t leave very often and he photographed a lot.

Whilst the Iconic Haçienda closed its door nearly 25 years ago its legacy still lives on. Bankrolled by Tony Wilson's Factory Records and New Order, the club hosted performances by everyone from The Smiths and Cocteau Twins to a then relatively unknown Madonna in what was her first UK performance.
